My Story
A piece of me to you.
How lucky can one get to do what you love and love what you do? For me, this is my reality and I couldn’t be more thankful.
Ever since I was a little girl, it was all about planning for me. Starting with planning the perfect tea party for my dolls to planning glamorous Million Dollar Weddings for Barbie and Kent! I planned school activities, bake sales, dances, homecomings, proms….if there was a party, I was the designated planner! My passion grew more and more as I got older, creating more glamorous events every time. Gradually, this passion grew into an ability to advise, create and organize events for dear friends and family, and my experience increased every year thanks to the numerous celebrations that people kept asking me to coordinate.
After years of juggling work (I am a professional Interpreter and Translator) and planning events for family and friends, I decided to go all in and explore the world of professional Event planning. I started taking every course available, thus feeding my mind and creativity with as much as possible. I became an interior decorator, took millions of cooking, floral design and space processing classes, until I felt ready to create!In my heart, I wanted to establish a company that would not only offer personalized service to couples that wanted to get married abroad but also a company that could create “the wedding of a lifetime” in a magnificent destination such as Guatemala. After a few years I finally managed to follow my dream and founded I Do, Guatemala!
I can humbly say that my team and I have helped many happy couples make their dream come true and I could not feel more fulfilled! Contemplating the look in our couple’s eyes when they walk into their ceremony and reception is PRICELESS! Suddenly the tiredness of the long hard hours we put into orchestrating the perfect event dissipate and in its place we are left with a mixture of feelings of love, joy and pride!

Because of my international background, (I am Italian but I live Guatemala), I fluently speak English, Spanish and Italian, so you can’t really say that I have trouble in communicating! Up till now, I have been in the service business for over 20 years, and I have enjoyed covering every aspect of all the luxury destination weddings that I have organized, from grand elegant events to small intimate affairs.
I am really proud to know that we have helped many happy couples make their dream come true, always pouring our hearts out and going above and beyond for each and every one of them. I listen to every wish that our brides and grooms have and make sure that it can be carried out; I carefully suggest and give counseling in the many decisions that couples have to make; I act as a median between them and the vendors; and most important of all, I always offer a completely personalized service.
My heart’s mission is to ensure that I reach our couple’s true needs and that’s why for me the individuality of the couple is essential!
