Frequently ASKED QUESTIONS
How much time do I need to plan my wedding?
This is really up to each couple. We suggest a minimum of four months from the date you plan to marry, due to the fact that the vendors and venues we offer (especially ruins) are very popular. Please consider that Guatemala is a country known for its rainy season that lasts from May to late October. Best suggested dates to get married are from November to April.
What advantages do I receive in organizing my wedding through I do, guatemala, instead of organizing it myself?
I Do, Guatemala is all about making your dreams come true. You will be able to relax and enjoy the most important day of your life because I Do, Guatemala will be there by your side every step of the way. We will personally deal with as much or as little as you want us to, all the while keeping track of the smallest detail. You will be kept informed of every aspect of your wedding without the overwhelming pressure that this can bring.
Does I do, guatemala, work exclusively with certain vendors?
We have a team of selected vendors we are very comfortable working with. However, we do not work exclusively with them. You are free to choose the vendor you feel most comfortable with. Because we work at a fixed rate, you can be sure that the price negotiated for every vendor is exactly what you will receive.
I Do, Guatemala works at a set rate that will be adjusted to fit your needs. We will help you create a budget that will allow you to keep track of your expenses at all times.
How will hiring I do, Guatemala affect our budget?
I Do, Guatemala will make sure you get exactly what you expect. Since we don’t work for a percentage over the total invoice price, we can guarantee that prices that have been negotiated for you are exactly what you are going to receive.
Can foreigners who are not residents in guatemala celebrate a civil and or religious ceremony?
Yes. Once we establish contact, we will be transferring exact details that present all the paperwork involved.
